June 30: Peterborough Lift Locks and Watoto Children's Choir

Today went on on a boat trip to the Peterborough Lift Lock.

It is the highest lift lock in the world.

The boat ride was two hours long.

The best part about the lift lock trip was when we went up and down the lift. It went up 60 feet.

I went with my dad, Uncle John, Aunty Lorraine, Craig and Marlene. Marlene is Aunty Lorraine's cousin.

Then we went for a lunch. We went to a restaurant that had Moosehead Lager umbrellas. I had a full rack of ribs and ate it all and I had coleslaw and rice and sweet potato fries.

Then we went to the see the Watoto children's choir. They came from Africa. They were abandoned because their families died but Watoto adopted them and they live in African villages with other children now. My favourite part was ALL of it and I even got a bracelet that was made in Africa.

Me and Arthur, who sings in the choir and who lives in Uganda

These girls stayed at Marlene's house in Edmonton, and she knew them.

After that we went to Dairy Queen and I had a medium caramel sundae.

My dad made me go to bed early but I could have stayed up all night long.
